Yogi Mahila Kendra and Jay Charities had jointly organized a shibir for 100 young girls between the age group of 6 to 15 years on Sunday, the 25th December 2016 in which, the institution’s lady volunteers Smt. Bimalben, Smt. Smitaben Patkar and other lady volunteers had conducted activities by which, the participant girls got knowledge with pleasure/amusement.

As a part of its Women Empowering Campaign, Yogi Mahila Kendra had, on Monday, the 26th December 2016 widely canvassed in the society, the “Beti Bachao.... Beti Padhao .....” scheme and brought awareness about it by displaying posters of it in Koli Bharthana village of Kamrej Taluka in Surat Zilla through its lady volunteers and lady members in which around 150 ladies had participated.

As a part of women empowering campaign, to spread the “Beti bachao.... Beti padhao.... “ movement, Yogi Mahila Kendra had organized a meeting for ladies in “Avsar”, Leuva Patidar Samaj Wadi, Surat in which, around 1700 ladies and girls from different parts of Surat had participated. In addition to the sadhvi sisters from Yogi Mahila Kendra, Smt. Darshiniben Kothiya (Pres. Women Front) and Smt. Ashviniben Thakur (the member of Beti Bachao.... Beti Padhao... movement) also remained present in this meeting to guide the women.

Following the “World Cancer Day”, Yogi Mahila Kendra, Haridham, Sokhada had organized on Friday, the 4th March 2016, a seminar at Simdhara Village of Zaghadiya Tal. to spread the awareness about cancer among the general public there. Around 25 ladies had participated in this seminar and collected knowledge about cancer.

Sarveshwarben and P. Sanyamiben, organized and carried out a Cleanliness Campaign, during the auspicious morning of the new year on Friday, the 1st January 2016, of cleaning the Navadi bank situated at Nanpura of Tapi river, the life line of Surat City, in which, Shri Purneshbhai Modi (MLA, and City BJP president), Shri Madansinhbhai Atodariya (City Min., BJP-Surat), Smt. Asmitaben Shiroya (Mayor, Surat City), Shri Shankarbhai Chevli (Dpty. Mayor, Surat City) and other prominent citizens from the local areas had also joined enthusiastically.
