To develop self-consciousness among women under its “Women Awakening Campaign”, Yogi Mahila Kendra had, on Tuesday, the 27th December 2016, organized a shibir in Jasdan in which, around 80 ladies from Jasdan had participated and learnt the lessons of life building from the sadhvi sisters of Yogi Mahila Kendra where P. Sarveshwarben, P. Sahajikben, P. Sahidben, P. Shyamcharanben and other ladies and lady volunteers from the institution were present.

As a part of its Women Empowering Campaign, Yogi Mahila Kendra had, on Monday, the 26th December 2016 widely canvassed in the society, the “Beti Bachao.... Beti Padhao .....” scheme and brought awareness about it by displaying posters of it in Koli Bharthana village of Kamrej Taluka in Surat Zilla through its lady volunteers and lady members in which around 150 ladies had participated.

Beti padhao.... “ movement, Yogi Mahila Kendra had organized a meeting for ladies in “Avsar”, Leuva Patidar Samaj Wadi, Surat in which, around 1700 ladies and girls from different parts of Surat had participated. In addition to the sadhvi sisters from Yogi Mahila Kendra, Smt. Darshiniben Kothiya (Pres. Women Front) and Smt. Ashviniben Thakur (the member of Beti Bachao.... Beti Padhao... movement) also remained present in this meeting to guide the women.
