One of the volunteer of Yogi Mahila Kendra, Haridham, Sokhada Smt. Bhaminiben Keyurbhai Patel had, on 7th Oct 2015, arranged a meeting of small girls at Avidha in which, around 40 girls had participated.

In this meeting, coming right up to the level of the participants, Smt. Bhaminiben had, while giving them the understanding about the practical life and developing culture among them, told them the interesting stories from the very famous and popular books of “Panchtantra” for their clear understanding, along with playing games with them and had taught them to give due respect to parents/elders, teachers and to keep the company of good friends, to speak only the truth from the children’s story books. They were also told about the glorious past of our nation and its treasure/heights of knowledge saying that we all are the children of our nation first and our first religion is our nationality and thus were told about devotion for/towards the nation. While telling them in their simple language that, we get less good and more bad by watching TV-Movies and thereby learn bad cultures also, and they were thus advised, prompted and encouraged to play games in the open grounds for their better health instead of watching TV. And in the last, they were please/amused by singing Gujarati child songs and devotional songs.

Thus, in this shibir, the small/child girls were directly and indirectly taught about developing good culture and manners in them. Though the activities like these by Yogi Mahila Kendra may now look ordinary, routine and very simple but, considering its effects on these small children today, it will surely convince anybody that, they are bound to create a strong and cultured India.
