Visit to Kankariya - 2017, Mumbai
On Tuesday, the 18th April 2017, 5 lady volunteers of Yogi Divine Society’s Mumbai unit had, along with around 55 young girls of 5 to 15 years of age, visited famous Kankariya Zoo in Ahmedabad.
These girls and their accompanying ladies had made overnight stay in Bhakti Ashram, Haridham, Sokhada on 17/4/2017 and then on Thursday, they had proceeded to Ahmedabad by bus enjoying their journey with delight and fun.
Having reached Ahmedabad, they first visited Kankariya Zoo whose real name is Kamala Nehru Zoological Garden where there is a fish-house along with other gardens with many different vegetables.
While watching different types of birds and animals here, the girls also knew, about their scientific names, sex, Indian name and in which countries they are found, from the boards displayed near cage of every birds and animals and had experienced delight and surprise and, they even didn’t know that 3 hours had passed by then.
Then, taking little rest and refreshments, they visited a fish-house there only where, looking at the wonderful life of aquatic animals of which, some could even change the colours of their body, they were highly surprised and delighted.
Then, they also enjoyed the pleasure of merry go-round, mini train and other rides while visiting other places also there and, after this, they also visited river-front of Sabarmati recently developed by the Govt. of Gujarat and lastly came back to Vadodara.
