Good Governance Day - 2016, Rajkot
The Govt. of India celebrates 25th December, the birth day of India’s former Prime Minister Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee as a Good Governance Day. On account of this, a seminar on “Good Governance”, the stepping stone for nation’s progress, was organized by Yogi Mahila Kendra on Sunday, the 25th December 2016 in Yogidham, Rajkot in the presence of regional sadhvi sisters of P. Sahajikben and P. Subodhben in which, apart from the city’s leading ladies, nearly 300 other women also participated.
The good governance of every nation depends upon its policies and its governors and, if they aren’t transparent and public oriented, there can’t be a required control on officers and they exploit people and, to avoid such a situation, different departments are established at every Govt. level which control the administration.
But, if the people are educated and alert, it is difficult to exploit them and, to work in this direction, after getting fully ready for Digital Transactions under Cashless India Campaign at their Haridham complex, Yogi Mahila Kendra had organized this seminar for ladies to impart to them the information about different systems of cashless transactions so that they also could do cashless transactions.
While addressing the audience, the regional sadhvi from Rajkot P. Sahajikben remembered Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and said that, he had no enemies. When he was the leader of opposition party in Indira Gandhi’s Govt., he was sent to UNO’s meeting as India’s representative. The birthdays of such leaders are celebrated as Good Governance Days. She further said that, India’s present PM Sri Narendrabhai Modi also tries to shine India’s image in the entire world through modern schemes like Digital India and Make in India so, we also should get acquainted with them and should support in India’s progress.
The lady leaders like Smt. Vijayaben Lakhani (Corp., ward-8,mnp, Rajkot), Smt. Alkaben Kamdar (Ed. Controller) and Smt. Jyotiben Lakhani (BJP volunteer) also remained present in the shibir.
