A unique seminar on the "Physical & Moral Nurturing of Children" was organized by Yogi Mahila Kendra - Nirgun Pradesh, Rajkot at Windsor Ville Resort near Rajkot on Saturday 8th August, 2015, between 4PM and 8PM, in presence of P. Subodhben & P. Stavanben, for the Mothers of children fom them to understand some basic principles of Physical & Moral Nurturing of their kids. About 75 Mothers & 50 their Children got the benefited by this Seminar.

The seminar started with a welcome speech by P. Shravanben (Dr. Praveena G. Bhanderi - Head. Of Dept. of Biochemistry). She explained the theme of this seminar and introduced the facilitators, P. Samyakben (Dr. Sonal J. Shah - Ph. D. Biochemistry & Co-ordinator of Atmiya Universal Human Value Cell), and P.Swastikben (Principal - Atmiya Shishu Vidya Mandir - Rajkot).

Giving information, advising & counseling to children and mothers was done by P. Shravanben and P.Swastikben in the following areas:

1. The right way to tackle a child's demand without tantrums is, not to enter in to arguments with him but to make the child calm & to have a dialogue to make him realize and understand the right thing. 2. Positive and negative effects of electronic media and technology on young minds. 3. Different ways to prepare tasty nutrition's and healthy snacks for children.

Overall, it was an interactive workshop and an opportunity whereby, the mothers understood some basic principles of effective and positive caring, nurturing & parenting based on the latest researches in the field of child psychology and their mental & physical health.
