With the assistance of Collabera institution, the lady saint sisters and the lady volunteers from Yogi Mahila Kendra, Haridham, Sokhada had distributed 110 notebooks and 450 long books free of cost to the 75 poor and needy girl students in Kanam Patel Samaj Wadi at Dabhoi on Tuesday, the 7th June 2016.

Today, during the time of disproportionate price rise beyond imagination, when the cost of education goes beyond their reach, the poor/middleclass parents are finding themselves unable to provide the required education to their children in spite of their hearty desire and willingness to do so. Though, in the Govt. schools, the students are provided the text books, they are finding it very difficult to do their studies without the other required stationeries like notebooks and long books. Considering this factor, the Yogi Mahila Kendra had, with the assistance from Collabera institution distributed the notebooks and the long books to the girl students in Kanam Patel Samaj Wadi at Dabhoi.

This program was arranged in the presence of saintly sisters P. Sumanben, P. Sulabhben, P. Smitben, P. Swadharmaben and P. Sweekarben from Yogi Mahila Kendra, Haridham, Sokhada. The lady leader volunteer from Dabhoi like Smt. Vilasben, Smt. Daminiben and Smt. Devilaben also remained present on this occasion.

In this program, the girl students from Dabhoi as well as from the surrounding villages like Kajapur, Simaliya, Pisai, Lingasthali, Anguthan, Borvav, Puda and Alhadpura also remained present and took the benefit of this assistance of notebooks and the long books. By having received the required notebooks and long books in the beginning of the new academic session, all those girl students were found to be very happy and, their pleasure was very clearly visible on their faces. Even their parents also heartily expressed their thanks and gratitude to the saintly sisters and the lady workers of the institution for this type of educational help/assistance to their children.
