World AIDS Day - 2016, Dharampur
Today, when the fast unplanned industrialization everywhere is disturbing/spoiling/ruining the entire atmosphere in the entire world, a number of new unknown and never heard of diseases have started been seeing and attacking the human life very badly and, one such disease found spreading since the end of the 20th century is known as “Aids” which has claimed lakhs of life during the last 25/30 years in the world and in India only, this figure is more than 68,000 per year making it most important to fight the same collectively.
One such an effort was made by Yogi Mahila Kendra, Haridham, Sokhada, on account of “World AIDS Day”, the 1st Dec., by organizing a seminar in Brahman Panchni Wadi at Dharampur in the presence of regional sadhvis P. Saujanyaben, P. Samarthben and P. Samataben on Saturday, the 10th Dec 2016 to develop an awareness about this disease among ladies in the society in which, around 200 ladies from Dharampur Dist. had participated.
In this seminar, Dr. Ajitbhai Chowdhary (B.A.M.S.) had, while describing about AIDS to the ladies present there, explained as to how does it spread, what are its stages, what are its symptoms and what precautions should be taken to prevent it and also explained how to prevent the misbeliefs being spread about it in the society by informing and explaining the real scientific facts on this matter.
Speaking last in the seminar, P. Saujanyaben had, emphasizing on living the disciplined and cultured life as directed by our Indian Culture also advised all the ladies to guide their children to follow the same.
Having received so much of very valuable and important knowledge about aids here in this shibir, all the ladies requested the sadhvi sisters and lady workers of Yogi Mahila Kendra to repeatedly organize similar camps to spread awareness about this deadly disease among other ladies in the society. Chanchalben (B.P.N.A. – Chikhli) and Smt. Parvtiben Patel, Mem. Dist. Panchayat also remained present.
