Clean India Campaign - 2017, Timba
Under the Clean India Campaign, the sisters and the girls from Yogi Mahila Kendra had, on Wednesday, the 25th January 2017, cleaned the ground and the public road near the milk dairy in Timba village of Sankheda Tal. in Chhotaudepur Dist. under the leadership of regional sadhvi sisters P. Suhasben, P. Satyaprakashben and P. Sadbodhben and had given the message of cleanliness to the surrounding villagers in which, around 20 ladies from Timba had also joined.
Treating the ‘Clean India Campaign’ started by the P.M. of India Sri Narendrabhai Modi as its own, Yogi Mahila Kendra periodically conducts cleanliness programs even in the most interior parts of the villages so that an awareness about cleanliness is developed amongst the people there also and, as a part of it only, the program of cleanliness was taken up at Timba village.
20 ladies had, under the leadership of sisters from the institution and lady volunteers from Timba, cleaned the ground and the public road near milk dairy and had removed dirt-dust and the dry tree leaves etc. from there.
While highly appreciating the work done by the sadhvi sisters and the lady volunteers from Yogi Mahila Kendra, Vimalaben Patel (Tal. President) present there on this occasion said that, though, the cleanliness is a joint responsibility of all, the villagers here are found to be little careless about it but, your such a campaign had provided to them an inspiration in the matter and, remembering your services, we also will be careful to keep cleanliness around in future.
