Oath Clean India Mission (21)

The sadhvi sisters of Yogi Mahila Kendra, Haridham, Sokhada had, during the International Atmiya Mahila Adhivation held on 3rd January 2015, given oaths to thousands of women present there, to encourage and support the P.M. Narendra Modi’s movement of “Clean India” in the presence of Hon C.M. Smt. Anandiben Patel.

Mahatma Gandhi taught us to live for our Nation and he liberated our nation from the chains of slavery. So come, let us vow to remove filth/dirt which amounts to a service to nation.

Hence, I vow that,

(1) I will translate into reality my oath for cleanliness by working for 100 hours per year for it (weekly 2 hours). I won’t spread dirt/filth myself nor shall I allow others to do so.

(2) I will start first from myself, my family, my street and my work field. We all know that, only those countries are clean, the people of which do not make filth/dirt around. We will continue to propagate/spread the movement of cleanliness in every street and every town.

(3) I will see that even other 100 persons also take the same oath as I am taking today and they also will work for 100 hours per year for cleanliness. Gandhiji’s dream was not only for liberated independent India but, it was also for a clean India. I am bound for it.
