Yogi Mahila Kendra had celebrated the 68th Republic Day of India in “Atmiya Sanskardham” at Manjalpur in Vadodara in the presence of its head sadhvi P. Suhrad (P. Premben), the other sadhvi sisters and lady volunteers in which, more than around 750 ladies and young and small girls from Vadodara had participated to exhibit their patriotism.

Keeping in mind the republic day, the stage was decorated with rubber toys with 3 colours similar to those of our national tricolor flag. When the institution’s head P. Suhradben and the chief guest of the function Smt. Shakuntalaben (Corp., Manjalpur, Vadodara) entered the hall, they were welcomed with the slogans like the “Vande Mataram....” and “Bharat Mataki Jay” by all the ladies waving the small Indian flags.

Then, the young girls had presented a very beautiful dance on the theme “Our India....Clean India...” with the brooms and message boards in their hands presenting a symbol of cleanliness and, indirectly advising all to keep their homes and surroundings clean while also removing the dirt from their minds and intellect.

After this, the girls from Vadodara had presented a dashing dance-song giving the message of patriotism in which, they had also given a message of “Unity in Diversity” by performing various exercises based on yoga, holding the national flags in their hands.

After the cultural program, while speaking, P. Suhrad (P. Premben) guided the ladies how they can glorify the respect of their own, of their family, the society and the nation and, while explaining the value and importance of the cleanliness movement started by India’s P.M. Sri Narendrabhai Modi, she further said that, due to this, the awareness among the people to clean the surrounding and to stay clean has increased improving their health. She said that, it is the joint responsibility of us all that, we observe cleanliness and also motivate others also for the same because, even cleanliness also is a part of service to the nation.

Along with P. Suhradben, P. Suyogiben and the elderly volunteers like Smt. Sulabhaben, Smt. Darshanaben and Smt. Mahaswetaben also remained present on this occasion.
