When, the P.M. of India Sri Narendrabhai Modi has started a movement for cleanliness all over India under his “Clean India Campaign”, taking it as a joint responsibility of all, Yogi Mahila Kendra is also doing its best to spread the message of cleanliness everywhere through its multidimensional programs in this direction.

The lady Volunteers and girls from Yogi Mahila Kendra, Haridham, Sokhada had taken up a campaign of cleaning up the river sides of Tapi River at Moti Ved, in Surat on Sunday, the 1st January 2017 and had collected 2 trucks full of the rubbish like the fallen tree leaves, the flowers dropped in the river by the public, the animal dungs and the rubbish like the plastic-polythene bags harmful to the environment etc. during this sacrifice of service which lasted from 8.00 am till 10.00 am and the same was properly disposed of with the help of nearly 50 lady Volunteers from the institution.

In this project carried out by Yogi Mahila Kendra, its lady Volunteers like Kaushikaben Parekh, Amishaben Patel, Rajaniben Vadhel and Nirmalaben Tailor (Principal, Moti Ved Primary School) had also joined.
