Yogi Mahila Kendra had, on Thursday, the 8th December 2016, organized a workshop “Best out of Waste” for ladies at Ahmedabad in which, Smt. Miralben Soni had practically demonstrated before all the participants, how to make envelops of which, 30 ladies had taken benefit and had chosen a path of developing their skill to become self-reliant in their life.

Yogi Mahila Kendra regularly organizes skill developing workshops for ladies at different places so that they also can become self-reliant in their life and live a better respectful life and, as a part of their this social service only, this workshop was organized in Ahmedabad in the presence of regional sadhvi sister from the institution P. Sagarben, P. Shahidbeb, P. Sahayogben and P. Sharanyaben along with elderly lady volunteers Smt. Manjuben Pandya and Smt. Divyaben Dave.

While practically demonstrating before the participants, Smt. Miralben Soni showed how to prepare marriage invitation cards, covers, small gift boxes etc. from colorful thick papers by using ordinary, simple and cheap items like scissors, fevicol, needles, colored threads etc. skillfully with workmanship while also showing how to make paper boxes for keeping chocolates and other similar small items on the occasions like birthdays etc.

The important point of this art was that, with only a little of workmanship and skill, you can prepare a lot of very useful items very cheaply at home which are also 100% eco-friendly and re-cycle-able. Thus, in this workshop, organized by Yogi Divine Society, Smt. Miralben trained ladies to generate their own source of income to become self-reliant through such small skills/workmanships.
