Yogi Mahila Kendra had honored nearly 40 young girls and maids by awarding them the medals and the appreciation letters on Saturday, the 17th December 2016 at Atmiya Welfare and Cultural Center, Kandivali (East), Mumbai at the hands of regional sadhvi sister P. Sarvamangalben of Ghanshyam Pradesh.

We all know that, many institutions felicitate clever and talented students securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd ranks in their studies and, this is only one part but, there are many other fields where also they can show their talent. Keeping this point in mind, to encourage them in other fields of their all-round growth also, this program was organized.

Those girls who were not only clever and regular in their studies but, also duly respected their parents and other elders in the family, possessed qualities like discipline, discretion and modesty etc. in their behaviours, were honoured by adding it as one more criteria, the organizers had given evidence of their smartness also and that was, those girls also, who were watching TV only for less than ½ hour a day, were also honoured.

All such girls were awarded a medal and a letter containing the qualities of an ideal girl so that, she and her other girl-friends also could be encouraged to live a life like that.

Along with sadhvi sisters P. Sarvamangalben and P. Prabhutaben from Yogi Mahila Kendra, an active volunteer from Mumbai Smt. Smitaben Patkar and Smt. Bimalben also remained present in the program.
