...Empowerment and Enlightenment of Womanhood
On account of Republic Day of India, under the “Clean India Campaign”, around 40 ladies and girls had, under the guidance and leadership of the sadhvi sisters of Yogi Mahila Kendra, P. Smitben, P. Suyogben and P. Swikarben had on Thursday, 26th January 2017 cleaned the premises of Brahmeshwar Yog Mandir and its garden of Kayavarohan village in Dabhoi Tal. of Vadodara Dist. to realize the motto, “Cleanliness only is the real patriotism” and thus, had given the message of keeping cleanliness to the villagers there.
Cooperating with the call of ‘Clean India Campaign’ given by the P.M. of India Sri Narendrabhai Modi, Yogi Mahila Kendra is periodically organizing such cleanliness campaigns at different places as a part of which, one such program was organized at Kayavarohan village.
Though, the Brahmeshvar Yog Mandir is a prominent place of pilgrimage for Lakulish sect and is visited by hundreds of people daily for darshans and tour but, due to lack of awareness among people, they spread dirtiness even at such holy places. In order to develop the positive attitude for cleanliness in the people here, around 40 ladies had taken up the work of cleaning the vast premises of this temple along with its garden under the guidance and leadership of sadhvi sisters and the volunteers of Yogi Mahila Kendra.
While collecting and removing the dirt and dust, dry tree leaves and other rubbish, empty pouches of water, the empty bags of biscuits-wafers and other snacks etc. and throwing them into the dustbin outside, the people visiting the place for darshans were also requested to maintain cleanliness in the temple as well as at their homes also.
This work of free social service by the sisters from Yogi Mahila Kendra was highly appreciated by all the visitors to the temple for darshans and also by the management people of the temple.
