On account of “Mother’s Worship Day”, 80 girls and ladies had presented their admirable Atmiyata by worshiping their mothers and mothers in law on Monday, the 13th February 2017 at “Atmiyadham”, Danti in the presence of P. Sarveshvarben, P. Sanyamiben, P. Shrinivasben from Yogi Mahila Kendra and the regional elderly lady volunteers.

In Indian culture, the mother is regarded as the first teacher/guru of every newly born baby till it enters youth because, during this period, it receives mother’s love, affection and warmth from her and her contribution is the maximum in its training, culture, development and progress both, mental & physical.

But, while imitating the western culture blindly, the present day youths totally forget the invaluable sacrifice given by their mothers for giving them the real and happy life and just neglect/avoid them. This equally applies to the newly married brides who try to separate him from his mother whom they have married and come to his house because they treat them like their competitors.

Keeping this fact in mind, Yogi Mahila Kendra had arranged this unique program of worshiping mothers and mothers in law. While emphasizing the need of such programs in the society, the lady volunteer of Danti, Divyaben said in her speech that, they only can protect the glory of women and, the lady volunteer of Surat Hetalben said that, the ladies in every family can only successfully maintain the real Atmiyata in every family and also gave related examples too.

After the speeches, 25 girls had worshiped their mothers and 23 daughters in law had worshiped their mothers in law and garlanded them. After expressing their gratitude towards the elders, every lady present there had heartily thanked the sadhvi sisters of the institution for showing them the importance of elders in the life.

In this program, apart from the sadhvi sisters from Yogi Mahila Kendra, in all, around 130 sisters, including regional elderly lady volunteers and other sisters were present.
