World AIDS Day - 2016, Khergam, Gandevi
Yogi Mahila Kendra, Haridham, Sokhada had, on account of “World AIDS Day”, the 1st Dec, organized a seminar at Khergam, Tal. Gandevi, Zilla. Navsari on Sunday, the 11th Dec 2016 in the presence of sadhvi sisters P. Saujanyaben, P. Samarthben and P. Samataben of it to develop an awareness about this disease among ladies in the society in which, around 60 ladies from villages of Khergam and Gandevi Dist.s had participated.
As a result of science, when we have fortunately been able to cure the diseases like polio, small-pox and T.B., the carelessness by people have allowed the new diseases like Cancer, Aids, Ibola etc. to widely spread their presence in the society. At such a time, Yogi Mahila Kendra had organized a shibir at Khergam village on account of World Aids Day.
In this seminar, Dr. Priyankaben Pardhi had, while describing about AIDS to the ladies present there, explained as to how does it spread, what are its stages, what are its symptoms and what precautions should be taken to prevent it.
The sadhvi sisters present there also had advised the participant ladies to live a controlled and cultured life as prescribed by the Indian culture and said that, it is the prime and important duty of the ladies to develop right culture in their young children when they are blindly imitating present modernization and running behind TV., movies and the fashions in their undesirable self-will.
Having received so much of very valuable and important knowledge about aids here in this shibir, all the ladies requested the sadhvi sisters and lady workers of Yogi Mahila Kendra to repeatedly organize similar camps to spread awareness about this deadly disease among other ladies in the society. Chanchalben (B.P.N.A. – Chikhli) and Manishaben (a nurse) associated with medical field also remained present in this shibir.
