A meeting for women to train them to expand and spread the scope of activities by Yogi Divine Society, like the upliftment and empowerment of women and its other social welfare activities was held on Thursday, the 9th February 2017 in Asopalav Flats, Satya Saibaba Hospital Road in Rajkot in the presence of sadhvi P. Suhrad (P. Premben), P. Sahajikben, P. Sumanben, P. Subodhben and P. Sukhcharanben in which, around 200 suhradayee sisters, other ladies and girls remained present.
While presenting a picture of women’s position in the society and the multifarious social welfare activities conducted by Yogi Divine Society in the beginning of the shibir, P. Sumanben had called upon all the lady volunteers attached to the institution to try to reach these services right up to every needy and weak/poor lady of the lowest class of the society.
Next, explaining the saying “Union is strength”, sadhvi P. Sahajikben said that, women can progress only through unity, we only, the lady volunteers will have to help and enable the women from the lower class to join the main stream of the society by making them self-reliant through the mediums of education to them and increasing their skills and asked the lady volunteers to encourage these women to participate in the seminars and workshops conducted by Yogi Mahila Kendra.
In the end, while addressing the lady volunteers, P. Suhrad (P. Premben) said that, as ladies, the nature has given us many special qualities as, we can manage our family as well as social responsibilities while also attending our jobs/service duties, which we have to utilize also for the betterment/upliftment of other poor/needy women of the society. Moreover, along with our own children, we have to give right/proper culture to the children of our neighbors also by seeing that, they are not stuck up in the bondages of caste and creed and live harmoniously among each-other to build a strong nation.
At the end, all the lady volunteers, other ladies and the girls dispersed with a resolution to work more and harder in the field of social services.
