Thermocol Art Workshop - Yogidgam, Rajkot
Yogi Mahila Kendra had organized a workshop named “Making of Showpieces of Tharmocol” for ladies on Sunday, the 14th June 2015 between 4.30 pm & 6.30 pm in Yogidham, Rajkot in which, 82 women participated who were taught how to prepare decorative show pieces of Tharmocol. P. Sanathben (Dr. Shivani Patel) who holds a respectable high post in Education field and also is an expert in different arts taught/demonstrated to all the lady participants through this workshop as to how a variety of show pieces of lampsheds (Candils) can be made/prepared out of tharmocol through a creative skill.
The participants learnt a new art of preparing/making attractive show pieces out of waste pieces of tharmocol which gave them a big self-satisfaction/happiness along with a new direction of creating a source of income for their families in case of need by utilizing this skill for gaining financial stability.
