...Empowerment and Enlightenment of Womanhood
As a part of celebration of “World Women’s Day”, for empowering women, Yogi Mahila Kendra had, on Wednesday, the 8th March 2017, organized a pranayama shibir for women in Yogidham Gurukul, Rajkot in which, Smt. Labhuben Kakadiya had taught around 175 women, the lessons of healthy body through pranayama and different processes of meditation.
In this shibir, Smt. Labhuben and her assistant ladies had taught the participants the process of pranayama and meditation through practical demonstration from the stage while also describing their psycho-physical benefits.
Smt. Bhanuben had also taught the participants,
1) Anulom Vilom Pranayam:- in which, deep breathing is done to strengthen the organs connected with lungs and respiratory system.
2) Ujjayi Pranayam:- in which, the process of respiration is done with a sound like a humming sound by wasp which cures the thyroid gland, increases memory power, stops hair falling and stops them becoming white/grey. And
3) Bhastrika Pranayam:- in which, the process of exhaling is done forcefully like bellows when the process of inhaling is automatically being done in the empty places in lungs and stomach strengthening liver, pancreas, entrails and digestive system which benefits the entire body.
Smt. Bhanuben had explained in this shibir that, pranayama is an invaluable gift from ancient Indian rishis to the entire world. There are 72 veins in a human body and they all are cleaned by regularly doing pranayama due to which, the mind and body get relaxed and working, giving a feeling of new vitality.
At the end of the shibir, the beneficiary ladies had thanked Yogi Mahila Kendra, Bhanuben and her team.
