To develop self-consciousness among women under its “Women Awakening Campaign”, Yogi Mahila Kendra had, on Monday, the 26th December 2016, organized a shibir in Yogidham, Rajkot in which, around 300 ladies from different areas of Rajkot had participated and learnt the lessons of life building from the sadhvi sisters of Yogi Mahila Kendra where P. A seminar on “Good Governance”, the stepping stone for nation’s progress, was organized by Yogi Mahila Kendra on Sunday, the 25th December 2016 in Yogidham, Rajkot in the presence of regional sadhvi sisters of P. As a part of their Atmiya Yuva Adhivation (Convention) to be celebrated/held on 3rd Jan 2016 at Surat, around 50 lady volunteers and girls from Yogi Mahila Kendra, Haridham, Sokhada had collectively, under the leadership and the guidance from sadhvi sisters P. Sarveshwarben and P. Sanyamiben, organized and carried out a Cleanliness Campaign, during the auspicious morning of the new year on Friday, the 1st January 2016, of cleaning the Navadi bank situated at Nanpura of Tapi river, the life line of Surat City, in which, Shri Purneshbhai Modi (MLA, and City BJP president), Shri Madansinhbhai Atodariya (City Min., BJP-Surat), Smt. Asmitaben Shiroya (Mayor, Surat City), Shri Shankarbhai Chevli (Dpty. Mayor, Surat City) and other prominent citizens from the local areas had also joined enthusiastically.

On account of “World Women’s Day”, Yogi Mahila Kendra had, with the help from Sunshine Global Hospital, organized a health check-up program/camp in Sunshine Global Hospital for the ladies from poor families in which, the consultations with physicians and gynecologists and services of reports for x-rays and ECG were done at a very nominal rates for which, the required cards were distributed by the institution’s sisters and lady volunteers on 12/3/2016 by going door to door in Ved area of Surat city.
