Republic Day Celebration - 2017, Timba
India, which got her independence in 1947, was declared Republic in 1950 and her “Constitution” came in to existence. On completion of 67 years of this occasion, as a symbol of national consciousness, Republic Day was celebrated in the entire nation. As a part of this celebration, the occasion of 68th Republic Day of India was celebrated by P. Suhasben, P. Satyaprakashben, P. Sadbodhben and the other sisters of Yogi Divine Society along with the school’s principal, teachers and the students of Sri Arvind Boarding School at Timba, Tal. Sankheda, Zilla Chhota udepur with 150 others.
A program of flag-salutation was organized at 7.30 am in the ground of Sri Arvind Boarding School in the presence of school’s teachers and the students standing in perfect lines in their uniforms where all had saluted the Indian national flag singing the national song in the presence of institution’s sadhvi sisters.
While addressing the students on this occasion, P. Suhasben explained the importance of republic festival and talked of patriotism and said in simple terms that, every Indian is our brother or sister and we all should live together harmoniously while also explaining as to how to be helpful in building a strong and progressive nation by advising them all to study well attentively and secure a bright career by obtaining good marks.
